Wrap-around support and targeted interventions to support
production teams from greenlight to broadcast.

Wrap-around support to take pressure of production management

From greenlight through to broadcast, our production-tailored services take the pressure off you by providing the exact expertise and support your production requires. Whether you need a holistic wraparound program seamlessly integrated into your project's lifecycle, or a one-off intervention to address a specific production risk, we are here to help. We map our services directly to the Australian Screen Industry Mental Health Action Plan (MHAP), ensuring your production provides accessible, highly visible, and effective support when prevention isn't enough.

A Complete Support Ecosystem

To achieve the best outcomes, we highly recommend integrating these services with our foundational psychosocial safety services (such as our Psychosocial Risk Assessment Workshop) and our screen-specific workshops and training (such as Mental Health General Awareness Training and Leadership and People Management Workshops).

The following services have been developed specifically to provide support to productions across Australia (based on the risks identified following a Psychosocial Risk Assessment).

  • We audit all production policies and third-party support services to ensure mental health is considered and embedded at every step. We ensure all information remains accurate, accessible, and aligned with industry standards.

    • Mapped to: MHAP (Act Now) rec 2.1

  • Before heading into pre-production, Screen Well can facilitate a senior leadership meeting to outline the psychosocial risks identified, recap document reviews, and agree on psychosocial risk mitigation strategies and responsibilities moving forward.

    • Mapped to: MHAP (Act Now) rec 1.3

  • We provide an expert-led wellbeing briefing at your Production Town Hall meeting. This bridges the gap between leadership's vision and the cast and crew's reality, ensuring authentic, practical, and consistent messaging about identified risks and available supports before production begins.

Mapped to: MHAP (Act Now) rec 3.4

  • We can guide your production's communication efforts to ensure you are consistently and effectively reminding your teams about available supports and reporting pathways throughout the production.

    • Mapped to: MHAP (Act Now) rec 3.3

  • Operating as a proactive, neutral third party, the Wellbeing Coordinator provides dedicated mental health and wellbeing support for all cast and crew. Working closely with leaders and safety supervisors, they play a key role in mitigating identified psychosocial risks through confidential check-ins and triage support .

    • Mapped to: Psychosocial Risk Mitigation (MHAP Action Areas 1- 3)

  • A People & Culture Advisor can provide cost-effective HR expertise, working alongside Wellbeing Coordinators to manage diverse people and workplace matters that arise on a production.

  • We provide remote access to dedicated Psychologists to support leaders, cast, and crew members throughout the life cycle of the production, with cases effectively triaged by our onsite support roles.

    • Mapped to: Psychosocial Risk Mitigation (MHAP Action Area 3)

  • We can leverage our extensive network to connect your production with specialised roles and subject matter experts, including cultural safety advisors, access/intimacy coordinators, and specialists in LGBTQIA+, neurodiversity, and domestic violence.

    • Mapped to: Psychosocial Risk Mitigation (MHAP Action Area 1 & 3)

  • Surveys are an important way to give cast and crew a voice and help leadership identify any blind spots. We implement pre, mid, and end-of-production surveys, providing actionable reports that allow you to continuously improve workplace health and safety in real-time and for future productions.

    • Mapped to: MHAP (Act Now) rec 5.1 & 5.2
