A coordinated response to one of the industry’s biggest challenges

The Australian screen industry is powered by creativity, collaboration and people. But increasing workloads, burnout, psychosocial risks and unsustainable working conditions are placing growing pressure on the workforce.

The Mental Health Action Plan (MHAP) brings together practical recommendations, industry insight and shared commitments to help shape safer, healthier and more sustainable screen workplaces across Australia.

Developed through extensive consultation with industry leaders, production companies, guilds, creatives, workplace experts and mental health professionals, the MHAP provides a roadmap for meaningful industry-wide change.
