Industry Guidelines & Training

  • Best practice principles to prevent high-risk psychosocial hazards, including bullying, harassment, and discrimination.

  • Training to help establish a respectful environment, which is currently free for SPA members.

    Screen Well also offers a Respect at Work workshop.

  • Free training for SPA members to ensure Contact People understand policies, appropriate pathways, and how to handle sensitive disclosures.

  • Accredited training to help meet the minimum expectations for Peer Supporters on your production.

    Screen Well also provides this training for up to 12 people at a time.

Mental Health & Wellbeing Support Services

  • A free, 24/7 confidential support service for everyone in the screen industry, offering general wellbeing support and up to 12 free counselling sessions. It features specialised pathways for First Nations, LGBTQIA+, people managers, and those impacted by bullying or harassment.

  • A free and underutilised mental health coaching program specifically for small business owners and sole traders.
